This is the kind of thing you can’t make up! I am sitting with Sara on her deck in Everett. WA, reading. Earlier today We were reminiscing about Syracuse and I mentioned to her that you had a bike business in WI. She and Cyrus, her husband, are avid bikers so she googled your name and learned about the cross country trip you and your wife took. Next she showed your blog to Cyrus. We were dumbfounded when he said he and his buddy Jim had met you earlier this summer and the four of you biked together a while! Wish you’d contacted me when you were in Syracuse! It’s pure delight to have this brief connection with you now.

Since you enjoyed reading about our Route 66 trip, you will definitely like our new book, “Coast to Coast on A Tandem: Our Adventure Crossing the USA on a Bicycle Built for two.” It is the story of our 2014 ride across the Northern Tier of the United States from Bellingham, WA to Bar Harbor, MN (4,362 miles in 72 days).
